Canned Supersweet Whole Kernel Corn consists of cut kernels of supersweet corn packed with water and salt. Supersweet varieties provide higher naturally occurring sugar, and/or crisper texture typical for the variety. These varieties may be slightly darker in color, and some varieties have a slightly tougher pericarp than conventional sweet corn.
