he Navy Bean, also known as the White Pea Bean, is the most widely known bean in the white bean family. The “White Pea Bean” was such a popular food on early U.S. Naval vessels in the mid 1800s that it became known as the Navy bean. Navy beans are excellent to use in chili, soups, and even tacos!
