Our Green Lentils are a bit firmer than most other lentils. These round, oval or heart-shaped disks are small, oftentimes smaller than the tip of a pencil eraser. Green lentils are known for retaining their shape after cooking and feature a hearty dense somewhat nutty flavor. Lentils can take the place of ground meat in casseroles and pies, thanks to their hearty texture, but can also make a nice bed for actual meat if you’re more inclined
